In Sync... Nature, In One Of Its True Attires

This is one of my personal favorites.

Which element, in this picture, attracts me, I know not. Is it the striking tranquility? The air was notably still and the thinnest of branches weren’t swaying.
Could it be the deer in the foreground? Legs apart, bending down and sipping to heart’s content.

The inspiring color of earth… How well the deer, the water, the lilies and the rocks blend in. Nature, in its true attire!

(My presence must have been graded as ‘nothing to fear’ – by their standards, who knows. After a few initial stares, they were comfortable with me hanging around, pretty close to them. I may never know whether an invite was there, for my taking. I may never know, whether they would have expected me to step in, join them, gulp my share, and kill the heat.)

Without Mummy.

“Without Mummy” was an afternoon bonus for me.

I was sipping Mocha after 3 hours of continuous shoot at the majestic campus of Infosys Technologies Ltd in Bangalore. The unusually hot weather was exhausting. However, the campus was buzzing with visitors.

I observed this young chap dancing down the walk way, clinging to his mom’s fingers. Like all kids of his age, he was sporting the most innocent of smiles I have seen. Soon he started relishing the attention he was getting from all around him.

His bright eyes sparkled with joy and demanded adventure. Leaving his mother’s grip he ran into the cafeteria, hunting for chairs. His trials of pulling out one of the heavy steel ones were in vain.

(On the table, lay my camera, alongside the stirrer, with the charge running too low for a flash.)

It didn’t take our little customer, much time to realize the lack of fun amidst chairs and tables. His desires for exploration brought him to the walk way which ran up to the older block of buildings.

Yes! Now that this young guy was out in the sun, I had no worries, capturing a few interesting moments without the flash. His expeditions carried no thrills for a person like me. However this petit Info-scion, on a brave quest deserved a royal click.
